Craftsmanship

Alwan works with craftsmen to showcase Morocco’s incredible traditional techniques. In sewing and embroidery, the workshop knows how to adapt and modernize traditional techniques to embellish comfortable garments.

The ready-to-wear collection is created and marketed in Morocco and around the world. Alwan also offers a beautiful collection of haute couture caftans for children. Ethical, easy-to-wear, high-quality and durable articles are proposed.

The cooperative promotes quality craftsmanship using natural materials such as cotton, linen and silk, and gives encourages local artisans.

Supporting famillies

Alwan is also a concept and an ambition: to ensure that all workshop members have access to health and education for their children. Seamstresses have access to training to develop their skills. To our great delight, it is now possible to combine work, affordable prices, support and mutual aid.

We make sure that every family has everything it needs, and support the most disadvantaged with clothing collections and financial assistance at local festivals. The term “cooperative” takes on its full meaning here, as the well-being of the artisans is paramount !
